Volunteer Event and Open Day

Come join the next of our volunteer days where we’ll be working to get our new nature reserve in shape! We will be doing several different tasks over the coming months depending on the weather but tasks will include digging the wildlife garden, planting plants and trees, path maintenance, brush clearing, habitat creation etc. On the day bring wellies (seriously bring wellies) and thick gloves if you have them though we do have plenty to share. The entrance to the reserve is off Ruislip Rd across from the Lidl Car Park, our gate is to the immediate right of 61 Clifton Rd Greenford UB6 8SP and we have a sign on the gate! The Nature Reserve will be open to the public every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, so come on down and relax in this little natural paradise! We have a bird hide, several ponds and wetlands, a small wood, a wildlife garden, a sunny deck to relax on and enjoy a flask of tea.  You can spot foxes, woodpeckers, slow worms, newts, frogs, spiders, insects, dragonflies, butterflies, red kites,  bats, pondlife,  and things we haven’t even discovered yet!
