It’s Bioblitz Time! Join us in discovering just what lives in our new nature reserve! We will be recording and observing all kinds of plants, insects, animals and birds. We will have the moth traps, and small mammal traps out overnight so we can see what we find on the day. We’ll be submitting records from our BioBlitz to London’s biodiversity database. If you’re a beginner or experienced naturalist, anything you see will be important! We need bug hunters, bird watchers, plant specialists, and bat watchers! There is a path but sturdy shoes (and possibly wellies) and long trousers are recommended.
You don’t have to come for the full 12 hours, just pop in when you can for as long as you want and let’s see what we can find! The entrance to the reserve is off Ruislip Rd across from the Lidl Car Park, we have a sign on the gate! There will also be tea/coffee/cocoa, and biscuits.
