Framfield Wildlife Habitat restoration day

As part of our Hedgehog Highways project we’re collaborating with Framfield Allotments to make it more wildlife friendly. They have several zones dedicated to nature, one of which is a large wildlife pond which has become quite choked and overshadowed by vegetation. So with EWG & Framfield volunteers we’re going to give it a revamp, clearing vegetation, dredging the pond of leaves, building hedgehog friendly log piles and dead hedges which will also benefit amphibians, invertebrates, birds and small mammals. All volunteers welcome, under 16s with adults. All abilities also catered for. And lots to learn and discover with like minded people and some outdoor exercise.
