It’s time to have fun in nature and participate in citizen science at our Bio Blitz! Join us to learn and discover just what lives in our nature reserve!
We will record and observe various plants, insects, animals and birds. We will have the moth traps, and small mammal traps out overnight, so we can see what we find on the day. We’ll submit records from our Bio Blitz to London’s biodiversity database.
If you’re a beginner or experienced naturalist, whatever you see is important! We need bug hunters, bird watchers, moth catchers, spider seekers and plant spotters!
There is a path but sturdy shoes (and possibly wellies) and long trousers are recommended.
You don’t have to come for the whole event, just pop in when you can for as long as you want and let’s have fun in nature and see what we can find!
The gated entrance with an EWG sign is on Ruislip Road East across from the Greenford Lidl Car Park, between 61 Clifton Road and 31 Costons Lane and we have a sign on the gate.

All under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
We’re a volunteer-run group and all our events are made possible by members who generously and enthusiastically give their time and expertise.
We believe access to nature should be free for everybody and to support us with these events you can donate with either a one-off amount or a monthly subscription here: https://ealingwildlifegroup.com/donate/.
Thank you.
