Join Vanessa and Jamie for a bat walk. We’ll start with a short talk about our UK bat species, then go for a walk using electronic bat detecting equipment to listen for their ultrasonic echolocation calls and identify what species are on site.
Bat detectors will be provided.
Please wear shoes appropriate for the terrain.
Children under 18 welcome with a responsible adult.
Bring a torch if you have one, as it will be dark by the time we finish.
This is a FREE event, no booking required, but if it’d be good to have an idea of numbers, so please let us know by ticking ‘going’ if you are thinking of joining us.
If the weather forecast is for heavy rain, we will reschedule – we will update this post on the morning to let everyone know.
All under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
We’re a volunteer-run group and all our events are made possible by members who generously and enthusiastically give their time and expertise.
We believe access to nature should be free for everybody but if you want to support us with these events, you can donate here https://ealingwildlifegroup.com/donate/.
Thank you.
