We’ll be continuing the autumn tidy up of the site, dividing up some of our overgrown pond plants to create a bit more open water in that habitat, and spreading these to the other wet areas on the reserve to boost biodiversity.
We’ll also be cutting back and digging out some of the more invasive plants we have on site to make space for other species to flourish.
And if all of that sounds a bit too much it’s also time to get the bird feeders stocked up ready for the cold weather moving in. There will also be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the reserve at your leisure so why not come down for a look around and to soak up the autumn sights?
The gated entrance with an EWG sign is on Ruislip Road East across from the Lidl Car Park, between 61 Clifton Road and 31 Costons Lane.
All under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
