We’ll be focussing on the pond area and dealing with some invasive species. By deadheading and digging out the Pale Galingale that is starting to swamp the pond margins, we can create more space for a wider variety of plants, boosting the biodiversity on the site. We will also finish off making sure the paths on site are open as we head into winter so we have access for maintenance.
And if all of that sounds a bit too much it’s also time to get the bird feeders stocked up ready for the cold weather moving in. There will also be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the reserve at your leisure so why not come down for a look around and to soak up the autumn sights?
The gated entrance with an EWG sign is on Ruislip Road East across from the Lidl Car Park, between 61 Clifton Road and 31 Costons Lane.
All under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
