Calling all existing volunteers to come and celebrate another year of community collaboration on the deck at Costons Lane Nature Reserve with some drinks and nibbles!
Perhaps you’ve often wondered what it’s like to volunteer and what is involved. Well, what better way to find out than to get all the details straight from those who already support EWG gifting their time, expertise and energy?
The EWG core team will be there and volunteers from the Bat Pack, the Beaver camera monitoring team, the Beaver fence checking team, the Costons Lane Nature Reserve team, the Hedgehog Highways team including the hole-drilling team, the Harvest Mice Mousewives (and Mousehusband), Swift champions, and the regular contributors who support us with images, newsletter articles and leading events.
All volunteers and future volunteers are welcome to join us from 14:00; we’ll probably be there till the evening!
The gated entrance with an EWG sign is on Ruislip Road East across from the Lidl Car Park, between 61 Clifton Road and 31 Costons Lane.
Some drinks and nibbles will be supplied but please do bring your own. NB – Lidl is just across the road to get your supplies and we’ll provide the ice to cool your drinks.
