Join us on the common to learn about and observe our local bats. We will meet just inside the entrance on the corner of Argyle Road and Scotch Common (i.e. the South West corner of Scotch Common). After a short introduction, we’ll be using handheld bat detectors to listen for their ultrasonic calls so we can identify which species we see flying overhead.
All ages welcome, under 16s to be accompanied by an adult. The paths are generally accessible. We will aim to accommodate any particular needs; if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to add them in the comments (or DM me and leave a comment saying you’ve done so).
