After a short talk by Paul Schifferes, he’ll lead us through the park on a walk using hand-held bat detectors to find and identify bats in flight. You’ll learn about our local bats, why they are important, what habitats they need, how they care for their young, how they find their food in the dark and how many midges they eat in a single night!
Please bring a torch and wear suitable footwear.
